Brad joined WSU King County Extension in March 2001 as an Area Agriculture and Natural Resource Extension agent and has been serving as Director since November, 2003. As Director he provides leadership in extension programs related to the needs of King County citizens, provides leadership in networking, collaboration, and working with community leaders and community-based organizations to identify and address priority issues across the county, and oversees the office of 40 staff including 14 faculty members and an annual budget of $3 million. In addition he conducts educational programming and on-farm research about cultural control methods for insect pests on vegetables.
