"To Make the Best Better"

Youth develop life skills through 4-H to become capable, competent, and caring citizens.

Public Presentations

Public Presentations provide a wonderful opportunity for youth to gain self-confidence, public speaking skills, and learn about the topic of their choice in depth.  In putting together their presentation, they learn to make decisions on how to organize their presentation, what information to cover, how to put together informational posters and must make decisions on what other visual aides to use.

Youth are encouraged to participate in a public presentation at club level.  If there is a desire to perform a presentation at State Fair, youth must present their presentation at a King County Level qualifying event and must receive a blue ribbon placing to be eligible to advance to State Fair.

For more information on how to create a public presentation, please visit this site.
